MONSTER SLAYERS

MONSTER SLAYERS - a feature documentary

Embedded on the frontlines, MONSTER SLAYERS follows the Giniw Collective, a direct action camp of Indigenous women and two-spirit water protectors resisting Enbridge’s Line 3 pipeline, which threatens the drinking water of 20 million people. As the project endangers the Mississippi River, and as authoritarian forces surge across the United States, they build camps, train youth in wild rice harvesting and food sovereignty, and mount high-risk actions to halt construction. In a country on the brink of collapse, a few hundred warriors transform resistance into ceremony, strategy, and community, offering a powerful blueprint for Indigenous-led climate action.
